I started journaling when I received a Hallmark diary (with a lock!) from  my parents back who-knows-when. Once the diary was filled I filled any notebook I could get my hands on. I still have all of them today-a giant stack of black and white composition notebooks filled with pre-teen and teenage angst. Now I blog (a much for efficient use of space) because I want to continue to keep a record of my life.  I imagine that in 5, 10, 20 years I’ll look back through my archive and be able to see how much things have changed, what adventures I’ve had, and how I’ve learned from my mistakes and grown as a person. Hopefully looking back won’t be as mortifying as  going back and reading my old diaries!

So what can you expect to read about? You name it and it is a potential blog topic. Right now I am focusing on making art again after a bit of an absence from the creative mindset. The ultimate goal is to become a working artist so I’ll be recording that journey here. I also enjoy blogging about traveling, DIY/Crafty projects, cooking, my little girl, and any other little adventures in which I happen to find myself.
