When I went in to get Ruby up and get ready for daycare she slowly stood up in her crib, her crazy Christopher Lloyd-esque hair flying everywhere, and started handing me all of her 'babies' which consisted of a bunny, Scout, Littlefoot, and a giant triceratops pillow pet. Only after I had all of those in my hands was I allowed to pic her up. As I held her and she snuggled with the armload of stuffed animals:

Me: Hi sweetheart did you sleep good?
Ruby: Yeah.
Me: Can I have a kiss? (making kissy noises)
Ruby: Yeah (then she kisses me) I love you (followed by big hug) I love you, mommy.
Me: I love you too, baby girl.

So then I put her and the managerie on the changing table and start to look for clothes and I see this:

I took several pictures, all of which were crappy and blurry, and afterwards I said, "Ruby, you're adorable!" and she said, "I adorble!" She then proceeded to point out all the various body parts of the pillow pet

Heath came into the room to say goodbye before he headed off to work. He kissed her, she kissed him, and then she put her hands around my neck and kind of pushed me towards Heath and said, "Kiss!" So Heath and I kissed as she kept pushing us towards each other and having us kiss over and over again for at least a minute. Then Heath announced that he had to go to work and Ruby said, "Go to work, daddy!"

Really it was like ten times more adorable than I am able to write it. It was one of those rare moments when I think to myself, "it would be cool to have another"....and then 0.05 seconds later that thought is gone, hahaha.

Oh yes, it had me wanting another child too...for a moment. With our two, they either beat each other up or gang up against the husband and me. Anyway, your story was very sweet. :)

Awww, so sweet. That's how they trick you! Right now mine is snuggled up next to me on the couch but I'm pretty confident she's just saving her energy to kick my butt later today.... rotten kids!
