New 'do?

Through the years my hairstyle has remained relatively the same. All one length and red. My big forays into something different were bangs (for all of a year), parting my hair to the side instead of the middle (*gasp!*), and the occasional layered asymmetrical bob (and crimping for Halloween). Thing is, I am suuuuuuuuper lazy when it comes to my hair. I hate taking the time to do much with it besides the basics. Even straightening it is going above and beyond on most days.

I can't believe I was 8 months pregnant there on the far left!
Right now my hair is the longest it's been since I got married. I don't really want to cut it back to the same 'ol boring shorter cut so I've been thinking of trying something new. There is a certain someone who I think is super cool and she has just about the coolest hair ever and it's an undercut style. Usually I would never  even consider a cut like this because of the shaving aspect but now I'm kind of like Fuck it. It's hair, it will grow back. Then I thought that maybe I'd wait until I lost the weight I want to lose  but then I thought, Fuck it. I'll probably never lose the weight anyway. Haha Ha ha..ha...ha....ha....Sigh.

Anyway. So I don't think I'd do anything like this right out of the gate, although I think it's super hot:

It would probably end up being something more subtle, (a.k.a safe) like this, until I got used to it and had the guts to push it further:

So what do you think? Can I pull it off? Is there any type of haircut that you've always wanted to try but haven't?

Girl, you rock! You can pull off anything if you own it!

That is the thing that is amazing about you. For example, when you started at UK you seemed a little un-confident about the degree and were shy about it all. As you grew and tested your limits, you swallowed the pill and became an "ARTIST" long before you had that degree in hand.

I know some days you feel like you're faking it, but honey you are "faking it till you make it" and no one else knows any different. I think you're awesome...Go for it!

And, for a side note, I always like when your hair is parted to the side - frames your face better!

I look forward to seeing pictures so I can live through you! I am the same way about being too lazy to style my hair and every time I get it cut in a salon and explain this, I still get a cut that they insist is super easy to style. I am happy just to cut it all off at home now but I have always wanted to dye it purple and have never had the guts! Be bold and have fun! (I am still trying to convince myself to do this)

I would probably have some funky colored hair right now but I am waiting for my henna'd hair to grow out. I've always wanted to have some craZy color so I'm going for it as soon as I can! You should too! Maybe you could start with a few streaks and go from there :)
