Ruby Sings

One of Ruby's favorite things to do, especially in the car, is sing. It's gotten to the point where I don't turn the radio after I pick her up from daycare, I just like to listen to what she has to say. 

To the tune of Frère Jacques:

Ques-a-dill-a, Ques-a-dill-a
Quesadilla! Quesadilla!
I want quesadilla, I want quesadilla
QUES-A-DILLA!

I want 'nana, I want 'nana
ba-na-na! Ba-na-na!
I want a banana, I want a banana
na na nah, na na nah.

I also heard her sing a version that involved a "Baby Hotdog" which actually was more like "Baby Hogog."

HOORAY! (throwing hands up over her head)

At daycare they sing a song that goes something like this:

__(name)__ is here today, __(name)__ is here today!
Everybody shout Hooray!__(name)__ is here today!

Ruby sings many different versions including: Mommy's here today, Daddy's here today, Grandpa's here today, Puppy's here today, and my personal favorite, Boobies here today. 


She's been doing this for a while but the first time she did I was floored that she could actually make up words to a tune she already knows. I was like, what the what?! That little girl, she amazes me quite often.
