I think Ruby enjoyed herself (It may have been too close to nap time) she liked to feel the sculptures and said, "hot", a lot. She also got to see her first butterflies and hugely fat bumblebees.

Yesterday we went to Frankfort, KY to attend the Fall Festival at Josephine Sculpture Park. Even though the park has been open since about 2009 I have never been out there. (I am constantly coming across new artsy places around Lexington, it's great!) I learned that Jospehine was founded by artists who had been part of the residency program at Franconia Sculpture Park, an amazing park just a few miles from my parent's house in Minnesota.

Looks like a cool place. Sometimes short visits are best with kids for sure. What starts out being fun can quickly turn.
